Johannes Weiland's and Uwe Heidschoetter's "The Little Boy and the Beast" was awarded with an honorary mention in the Children's and Youth Competition at the prestigious "Kurzfilmtage Oberhausen".

We had a great time once again at the ITFS this year, crowned by the "The Gruffalo" winning first prize in the Children's Competition. We thank the lovely jury (see above) and the fantastic audience who made the screenings a very special experience for us.

Marcus Sauermann, writer of Soi's "The Little Boy and the Beast", has won the award for the best script for a children's movie at this year's "Goldener Spatz". The German text of the jury's statement can be found here. Congratulations Marcus!
